The September edition of Fan Access is now online featuring all the latest news and reviews from the world of SWA. This time round we take a look at the latest twist in the tale of Renwick versus Canyon as we wonder how far Canyon can push Renwick before he snaps, and what will happen if Scotty reaches breaking point?

We also take a look at the events of SWA in Uddingston and Source in Erskine, looking at how the events have shaped up and what Source Stars are stepping up to the plate. Another match has been added in full to Live! With the roster piled at ringside in the main event for Scott Renwick’s title defence against Liam Thomson in a Lumberjack match, as you would expect, all hell broke loose! With not only the NWA Scottish Heavyweight Championship up for grabs, but Renwick’s pride and Eric Canyon’s struggle for control of the company, the fight was heated inside the ring, but it was equally tense outside.

Still sore from the events earlier in the night, the talent found themselves exploding towards the close of the match Team Canyon tried to interfere, only to find retaliation from Team Renwick. With the roster brawling to the backstage area to settle some scores, Renwick found himself alone in the ring with Thomson and the main events special guest referee… Eric Canyon.

More August 28th matches signed; Falcon, BT Gunn and Eric Canyon.

Friday, August 20th, 2010

With just over a week left to August 28th, SWA Online has learned the final pieces of the puzzle as we prepare for our trip to Uddingston where we’ll see two fan favourites face each other as they prepare for their quarter final matches in the NWA British Championship Tournament.

With his quarter final match against Johnny Moss delayed, we saw BT Gunn tear through Jester in a huge main event for After Hours, seding a message to Moss that despite his achievements, his power, his size, and his confidence… Gunn was ready for the challenge and he was going to do anything it took to make sure he’s the man to head to the final. His defeat over Jester was only one more step in an amazing streak which has seen his charge through the tournament, as well as any challengers outwith his quest for the title, and he’s doing everything to make sure he doesn’t stop now.

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

Fans on SWA’s Facebook page found out this week that Lionheart had been confirmed for August 28th and we asked who you’d like to see him face. We can now reveal that Lionheart is now scheduled to face the man known as ‘The Merchandise’ Mike Musso!

Having dominated the east coast of Scotland as well as making an impact in the West, Mike Musso is a former W3L Heavyweight Champion who’s tackled some of Scotland’s top headliners such as former NWA Scottish Champion Wolfgang in stellar matches, as well as SWA’s own NWA British title hopeful Damien O’Conor and Scottish fan favourite and Gathering regular, Darkside.

More matches added to Uddingston; Nikki Storm v Sara, Disco Biscuits v STI

Saturday, August 14th, 2010

The clock is ticking for Liam Thomson as we approach August 28th’s event at Viewpark Community Centre in Uddingston. He was the first man to defeat Scott Renwick since he became NWA Scottish Heavyweight Champion in September 2009 and with Canyon placing all the pressure on him to take the gold away from Renwick, Thomson knows he could very well walk out of the match as the new Champion of Scotland.

With the support of SWA co-owner and his talent relations manger Charles Boddington and their financial backing for his training regime, Thomson has an obvious advantage. The SWA Committee feel that with the absence of Peter Murphy, perhaps he’ll have too much of an advantage and have decided to make things fair.
