Wolfgang challenges Mikey Whiplash for the Scottish Championship on January 19th!

A Brief History of the Scottish Heavyweight Championship

In June this year we started off a new era of SWA with the ‘New testament’ double header, with the first night seeing a change of the guard as British wrestling veteran Whiplash took home the Scottish Heavyweight Championship in only his second appearance for SWA by countering Andy Anderson’s double-knee smash and forcing the young star to tap out. With Whiplash becoming the latest man to hold the title, we’ve taken a quick look at the history of the championship.
