Rule 97; Enough is never enough.

I haven’t had the chance to write any blogs for a while, but since we’re in the seasonal break I figured it was time to stop being lazy and start typing. Although with the way things are going, I should maybe join the trend and make a video post next time. Until I make that giant leap into the 21st century, here’s some stuff on my mind with a hint of shameless plugging…
Forsaken
We’ve had an up and down year since banding together as our merry little group of misfits, I think it’s safe to say we’ve had more fun. It might have been at the expense of the Source roster but I’ve enjoyed it. I even got to kind of/almost be SWA Tag Team Champion for about an afternoon. Which I’m sure fits the rules the Originals set out as I fit the job description. And with all the fun came some reward as Dunbar didn’t just have a steller run as T-Division champ this year but has ended 2011 on a high by toppling Joe Coffey for the Laird. I think a huzzah is in order.
But with the good news comes the bad as, unfortunately due to his unstable mental health, the Laandstrom Institute has recalled Jamie Walker and won’t release him for any more Source events as he keeps trying to chokeslam other patients when he gets home. Which leaves us with a gap in our group which we’ll have to get together and chat about.
Plus, now that there’s a Source exclusive title we really should figure out the best way to grab hold of it…
Mickey Brookes
So outwith Source I’ve been working on some other stuff and for the better part of a year and a half have been developing a little web show with Cash Cow Productions. A web show thats a nightmare to fund, so while that’s on hold we’ve all gone off and taken on other projects. The one I’m espearheading is all about wresting. Big surprise there. So whats it all about?
In the golden era of British pro wrestling, Brooks was Irelands biggest star and a true national hero. Having dominated the scene for years, Brooks was embroiled in a bitter rivalry with his protege turned adversary in a fierce battle for the Irish National Championship. It was a rivalry that took them both to new heights of fame and fortune, even after British wrestling disappeared from our TV screens.
Many years later, Brooks invited a camera crew to follow and investigate his legacy as he made his bid to recapture that title on the biggest show of the year. But there was one problem.
He wasnt booked.

And finally…
…when Source Wrestling is back in January, it’ll be two minutes form my house. This not only pleases me but I’ll be making a bit of an effort for it. I’ve felt oddly good in 2011 despite spending the latter half of it dizzy (seriously – when kicking around Christopher Saynt at the last Bridgeton show my head was spinning and I had to stop everything for a few weeks. Odd stuff) and I’ve been working on some new stuff at SWS this year. So my end goalis to perfect, finalise and surprise people.
Maybe kick some people in the face while I’m at it.
So yeah, come to Source Wrestling,s kickoff shows to see a champion crowned, possible a new tag team (from what I hear in the rumour mill) and unless I upset the GM’s wife again, me kicking someone in the face. Keep updated on the event page, Facebook or Twitter.
