6. Jackie Polo
His first entry on Six of the Best, Polo has grabbed my attention this month after his rise up the card in November. For anyone that missed the 100th show in Motherwell, Polo got his chance at the Scottish title after the Originals selected the young star to battle Andy Anderson for the title. Despite Anderson retaining his belt, Poo certainly grabbed my attention with his performance!
5. Christopher Saynt
The only source exclusive star to make the listing this month also makes his first appearance in 6OTB after a huge win over James Scott in the main event in his hometown, Clydebank! His win not only gave him the biggest of his career to date, but qualified him to enter the Pride of Scotland tournament and have the chance to become the first Source-exclusive champion!
4. SWA Laird of the Ring Champion Glen Dunbar
After teaming up with Eric Canyon at Source in Clydebank, Dunbar sent a message to Joe coffey when his Forsaken buddies – Jam O’Malley and James St James – tied Coffey to the railings while Dunbar pummeled Black Samurai Junior. While Coffey watched helpless, Dunbar showed him just how far he’d go for a win. A week later and Joe took out all his frustrations on Dunbar, kicking him black and blue, but despite Coffey’s dominance, the oppertunistic Dunbar walked out with his first Laird of the Ring Championship win!

It’s been a crazy time of late and at Point of Origin we saw a few surprises that shook the foundations of SWA to it’s core. Now we’re spinning towards the 100th show in Motherwell, it looks like we’ll be ending the year on a high! So as we gear up for the years end, lets take a look at my picks for this months magic six!
6. Falcon
Gaining a win over the teen Source sensation Lewis Girvan at Point of Origin wasn’t what put Falcon on my radar this month. It’s what happened afterwards. After gaining a following and a lot of support with his masked identity, Falcon ripped off the mask as a sign of frustration and disrespect to all the fans that loved him for the look. It’s quite a shock to see Falcon reveal his true self, but here’s hoping it’s the start of a new chapter for the Bird of Prey.
5. Glen Dunbar
Alright. So he lost hs title match against Andy Anderson and not one soul cheers Dunbar. But still, can you deny he’s one of the best when it comes to pure wrestling ability? Didn’t think so. And like it or not, I reckon his match with Anderson proved that we’ll see Dunbar with more gold around his waist soon.

It’s been a heck of a month for SWA and Source combined. The tag belts changed hands twice (technically thrice), CJ Hunter gained his first ever SWA title when he defeated Dickie Divers for the T-Division Championship and we found ourselves with a new Scottish Heavyweight Champion. The Source-exclusive title, the Pride of Scotland Championship, also took steps towards it’s first champion with only one match left in the first round before the next stage of the tournament.
There’s also been a lot of good matches so this past month made it difficult to figure out who deserved to be in what rankings. But if you disagree, comment away! On with the list!
6. SWA Tag Team Champion
Mr Eric Canyon
How the mighty have fallen. Despite not being placed last month, Canyon has dominated SWA for longer than I care to remember and he’s been busy in the past few weeks. After awarding himself and Source star James St James the tag belts, Canyon failed to retain the title and legitimise his claim against BMW, but the war wasn’t over as he forced the duo to put the titles on the line in the Clan Wars five on five main event. Thanks to the defecting Falcon, Canyon won the match, won the night and walked away with both the NWA Scottish title AND both SWA Tag Team titles in his grasp. Moments later it all went wrong, but I’ll mention that later.

My usual pre-list ramblings have inspired it’wn own feature here on Inside SWA (10 Things…) so I’ll keep my rambling to a minimum and just say that I am gutted Camelot got canned. No more Eva Green on my tele? Gutted.
All I have left is Easteners and Rita Simmons. But Source has kept me more than occupied with a few crackers, mainly that big T-Division match with Dicky Divers going head to head with Glen Dunbar and Charles William Yum getting decimated by Joe Coffey – haven’t laughed so hard in years!
Anyway – the list! We’re starting off with a new entry and some people I could hit with a pointy stick all day.
