Despite losing the title between November 2011 and regaining it in February 2012, Coffey and the Laird title seem to be near-inseparable since 2012. Even in his brief spell withhout the belt, he was never far from it, gaining it back as soon as he got his rematch!

Becoming known as the 'unofficial Source Championship', CJ Hunter won the title after an incredible match against Dickie Divers, but when Divers became too hot to handle in the encounter, the cunning mind of Hunter, always having a plan B, brought in an ally from the SWA Originals to give a helping hand from the outside!.
SWA Tag Team ChampionsWMD; Nathan Black & John 'The Bomb' graham'
When the battle between the Originals and the NuGeneration was becoming a desperate struggle, Source Wrestling School graduated the Bomb and Black joined the fight when they challenged Adam Shame and Eric Canyon for the tag team championships in Bomb's hometown and were able to take the titles home!
