For the first time ever one of the most decorated W3L stars, former four time W3L Champion Mike Musso will take on the man that has been on a rampage in SWA and has made a name for himself as one of the most accomplished wrestlers in the UK today – Mikey Whiplash.

Despite being polar opposites in terms of style, these two men have walked very similar paths of late on the run up to Clash of the Titans. In the ring, both men have title opportunities in waiting. Musso has spent a long campaign to regaining the W3L Championship, which now see’s him stand as number-one contender to whoever wins between Kidd and O’Conor. Musso also gained the respect and following of the W3L locker room standing as the companies head trainer, guiding young talents to follow in his highly successful footsteps.

Meanwhile, Whiplash has been on a rampage in SWA, leaving top stars in his wake as he leaves a path of destruction on his road towards the Scottish title, quickly being named the number-one contender to the NWA Scottish title. His aggression has also traveled to the Source Wrestling School where he has gained both fear and respect showing his ‘no mercy’ style to up and coming stars in SWA.

In this match we’ll have two men shaping the next generation, two men who have number-one contenders titles and two men who are seen as icon’s in their fields. As their paths towards their respective championship cross, this will truly be a Clash of the Titans as these two men pull out all the stops to prove they are worthy champions!

Cruiserweight stars collide for the first time as one of Scotland’s finest takes on one of England’s top stars.

Making his return to Scotland, Kirby brings with him a history of success and respect from his amazing breakout career to take on a man who has been described as a ‘hidden gem’ of Scotland in a cruiserweight collision that will no doubt be remembered for all time!

Since moving into singles action Bryden has shown fans in W3L he is truly a force to be reckoned with. A more serious and focused competitor has began to shine through in the past year which has not only elevated Bryden to new heights, but has shown the true colours of the aggressive athlete he truly is.

With these two focused, aggressive and vicious opponents clashing for the first time, this will be one to watch as they join the Clash of the Titans line up!

Adam Shame has absolutely dominated the W3L Tag Team Title scene for the best part of a year, having destroyed previous champions the Disco Biscuits alongside partner Falcon. Since then, he and Falcon had a bitter war over the Tag Titles, with Shamer prevailing and then aligning himself with former bitter rival Eric Canyon. The duo declared themselves as “A & E”, quite simply because that is the only destination available for their downed opponents!

Since then, the pair have set their sights on becoming the most dominant Tag Team Scotland wide. Aiming to pick up SWA Tag Gold along their way. However, there is one major obstable in A & E’s way – The SWA Tag Team Champions; the mountains of muscle; the explosive Weapons of Mass Destruction!

Since forming in 2010, the WMD’s have found themselves downing team after team. Each one falling, unable to compete with not only the unadulterated strength of John “The Bomb” Graham and the “Heatseeker” Nathan Black, but also their uncanny agility, much more common with cruiserweights than men standing at 20 stone and above!

This should be an absolutely mammoth match up. A&E’s 20+ Years experience versus the WMD’s power, strength and youthful aggression. W3L Tag Titles vs. SWA Tag Titles – Winner Takes All!!!!

Nikki Storm has been a great success as the W3L Women’s Champion, winning the vacated title after a year long all-women’s tournament, defeating Viper in the final. Since then, she has held the belt for over a year and a half, taking on all comers and proving exactly why her star power rises by the day. However, all of this has not gone unnoticed by the volatile former Champion, who was stripped for reasons still undisclosed after 2 and a half years!!

The Siren known as Sara, was undoubtedly the Queen of W3L, sitting on her throne for years as the most dominant female wrestler the company had ever seen. She downed some of the biggest names in Britain, including Saraya Knight and WWE’s Paige in her quest for glory. However, her actions were unbefitting of a Champion and the W3L management stripped her of her prize and banished her from competing. Over the course of those three years, Sara has kept her eye on her precious W3L Women’s Title, and watched as Nikki Storm flourished as its Champion.

Of course, it was only a matter of time before Sara would eventually look to regain her crown, and in Penicuik, Sara did just that. She attacked Nikki Storm following her successful title defense against Carmel, and stole the W3L Women’s belt for herself, quickly escaping before security could get ahold of her.

This didn’t sit well with W3L Management, and they have used every legal aid in their arsenal to procure the Title. However, Nikki Storm rejected the opportunity to regain her title by hand, knowing full well that former Champion Sara, technicaly never lost the belt to begin with and would not rest until she held it once more. Instead, Storm put it forward to management that the two fight to determine the true Champion, to put the issue to rest once and for all!

The W3L management have thought long and hard on the subject and came up with a match befitting of such a contest. As both competitors have a legitimate claim to the title, neither will enter with the strap, instead, the strap will be strung 15 feet above the ring and the two will compete in the first ever Womens Ladder match!

Devitt has been on fire in the last 5 years in Japan, racking up mutliple Junior-Heavyweight Tournaments and IWGP Junior Heavyweight and Tag Team title success. He has become one of the biggest stars in Japan, and is proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is one of THE best wrestlers in the world.

SWA were very lucky to have Devitt come to the training school in 2009 and since then, he has been an absolute gentleman, helping the careers of many of the Source graduates. From giving advice on career paths, gym work and nutrition, to giving them one on one coaching and instruction with their actual wrestling. He has inspired so many of the graduates…but none more so than Joe Coffey.

Joe Coffey has been a phenomenon, not only in SWA, but in Scotland as a whole. He has broken out all over the country, taking on all challengers. Coffey began taking his training seriously with SWA in December 2009 when Devitt made his first appearance in the Source Wrestling School, and retains a massive amount of respect ofr his trainer.

Coffey firmly believes in success and nothing less, and a match of such proportion will provide the type of test Coffey requires as he chases his dreams. Having learned so much from Devitt, and having such a physical, yet agile presence, he will provide one hell of a challenge for the International star. We already know that this match will be amazing, we just can’t wait to see how it plays out!

34 years ago, London man Johnny Kidd took on Tony Scarlo in Salisbury beginning a hugely successful career. Kidd, who flourished during the Golden Era of British Wrestling, has become one of the most respected wrestlers on the planet. So much so, that after 34 years of wrestling, he is still flown all over the world for his skills.

Kidd is a true practitioner of the British style of wrestling, and his transitions and movements are fluid and effortless. He is in fact one the very few legends still active on the scene today. This, and his previous success within W3L have convinced W3L management that he is a very suitable candidate to take on current W3L Heavyweight Champion, Damian O’Connor.

O’Connor is an avid fan of the British technical style, having trained under the likes of British Wrestling veterans Robbie Brookside, Doug Williams and many others, but what sets the rugged Irishman apart is a ruthless, aggressive streak that have brought him success at the fans behest.

O’Connor was very proud to be the first Irishman to hold a Scottish Heavyweight Title, and has thus far done everything in his power to hold on to the W3L Title. It is true that O’Connor holds men such as Kidd, Saint, Brooskide and many others in such a high regard, but is completely unwavering when it comes to competition. This has all the potential to be a technical wrestling clinic of the highest regard….but only if O’Connor can keep his cool.
