One of the strongest and most aggressive competitors in the country, O’Conor didn’t get where he was the easy way and has worked his way to the top thanks to a lot of hard work and determination.
Having served as security, ring crew, back stage staff and even a year-long stint as referee O’Conor finally made his in-ring debut late 2005, immediately setting his sights on the SWA Tag Team Titles alongside fellow Irishman Pete O’Neil.
After a short reign as ‘The Shamrockers’ O’Conor took on a new partner in former rival Scott ‘The Butcher’ Renwick, forming a tag team that would go on to become not only one of the most popular, but most successful tag teams in Scotland and the UK, winning SWA, SSW, 3CW and TXW Tag Gold and even chalenging for the W3L Tag belts. The team eventually earned the moniker ‘Britain’s Most Wanted’ after several tours around the UK.
When O’Connor stepped into the single’s division, the Aggressive Technician’s success continued as he collected a string of singles championships including SWA’s Laird of the Ring title.
It was in W3L however, where O’Conor has enjoyed considerable success and is currently thriving during his second reign as W3L Heavyweight Champion. O’Conor has gained a reputation in W3L as not just a technician but an opportunist, winning his second heavyweight championship after capturing the inaugural W3L “Golden Ticket” and cashing in during a Championship Tournament final between Mike Musso and Eric Canyon.
Since winning the W3L Championship O’Connor has been involved in a bitter feud with former W3L champion Mike Musso, and has also locked horns with Robbie Brookside, Drew McDonald and many more.
