One of the founders of SWA, Eric Canyon enjoyed success from the birth of the company when he won a bitter battle for the NWA Scottish Championship to become one of the biggest fan favourites SWA had ever seen.

Years on, time has certainly changed Canyon. Now a petty and vindictive man, Canyon invested in SWA and used his managerial powers to harass and force Scott Renwick out of a title reign, eventually lacing up his boots once again to re-capture the Scottish title in a bid to re-live his glory days and gain complete control over SWA.

Throughout his time in SWA Canyon has shown excellent wrestling ability and engaged in bitter rivalries that have engaged the SWA audience. His entrance into W3L in 2011 continued the trend and he has his sights set on total domination of Scottish wrestling! The former SWA Champion has already proved himself in W3L making it to the finals of the W3L Championship tournament at Wrestlution V, also competing in a hard fought battle with British legend Robbie Brookside and holding a victory over fellow legend Drew McDonald.

From his initial battle for the title, which saw him compete in Scottish wrestlings first cage match to his long feud with Adam Shame, to his locking horns with British legends in W3L, to his stalking of Scott Renwick and everything in between Canyon has been on top of SWA from day one and he’s determined to keep that spotlight on himself in W3L. This was most evident when Canyon shocked the Scottish Wrestling indistry when he aligned himself with long-time rival Adam Shame, with Shamer handing Eric Canyon one of the W3L Tag Team Titles!
