CONSCIENCE | SWA Alumni
When the lights go out and your hear the haunting chants of his entrance music, everyone in the building feels goosebumps tingling all over. Well, thats the way it used to be.. Conscience played on his image as a monster but now he's found new inspiration within himself.
Now he believes he doesn't need the lighting or the wardrobe and instead replies on his years of athetic experience to take centre stage. His workrate alone is what he wants to shine so he's dropped all the gimmicks to become the iCon.
Before the change, Conscience hasdbeen a headliner in SWA from day one and a huge part of the Scottish wrestling scenes revival. He's held
every incarnation of the Scottish heavyweight title, battled across the world and represented both Scotland and the UK
on behalf of the prestigious NWA orginisation.
His life-long experience in athletics make him the perfect man to represent his country. He's contended for the
Olympics and Commonwealth games as well as worked with American Football team the Scottish Claymores. He's trained in
several martial arts and holds black belts in disciplines such as sombo and tai kwon do. All this before he started
to train for professional wrestling with Hammerlocks Jon Ryan and Andre Baker.
In early 2007 Conscience added the NWA-UK title to his list of accomplishments making him the British Champion for NWA.
He won the title after three hard hitting matches against Johnny Moss, finally taking the belt from Cumbria's wrestling
machine. He has since gone on to fight across the country, as well as abroad, to retain the title and stand proud as the
Champion of Britain.
The man we now know as the Pryor started his career at NWA-UK's Hammerlock territory touring over the UK. He was known
as Majiks spiritual leader but after two years of taking down the biggest and baddest the company had to offer, rebelled
against Majik and broke off on his own. The two had years of on and off feuding which led to a casket match in 2006 in SWA.
When Conscience brutally defeated Majik, he gained a new lease of life. On one hand he felt broken, as if he'd just cut the
finally ties he had to his humanity, on the other he felt free and energised, ready to take on a new challenge.
It was that match that saw the rebirth of Conscience and has taken his personality in the new direction we see him in
today as British champion.
