 MICKEN | Member of the Playas
Micken has been a mainstay on the SWA roster since day one, having worked as the Wiccan Warrior and Flight, but he's found his feet following his passion for Indy style wrestling taking out any opponent he faces in a whilrwing of fast paced wrestling action!
Micken enjoyed sucsess in both the singles and tag team division. He's challenged for the Scottsh Heavyweight title on several occasions and was one of the first T-Division Champions in the company. More recently he's been focusing on his tag team, the Playas, whom he founded with fellow A List member BT Gunn.
During Clan Wars 2007 things were looking bad for A-Lister Falcon who was the last member of his team against CJ Hunter and still fresh and newly returned Flight who had the crowd behind them with high hopes as CJ is crawling over to tag Flight, he hits CJ and takes of his mask to reveal he is in fact Micken! A double team move later and CJ is out of the match, Micken lay down for Falcon as a sign of respect to be pinned before it was revealed that Micken is the new member of the A-List!
Since then Micken has been on a mission to conquer not only SWA but the entire UK scene going from strength to strength using whatever tactics he sees fit in the hard hitting, head droping, face kicking, top rope, fast paced style of of Indy wrestling which he loves.
Micken believes you earn a psychological advantage over your oppents if your known for kicking them in the face which he used to his advantage when he won the SWA Tag Team title in the 2008 Battlezone.
The only thing that upset Micken about the Tag Titles was the fact Damo O'Conner part of BMW won the other half of the coveted title, and not his own tag partner part of The Playas, BT Gunn.
As Micken took unkindly to this, he jumped Damian from behind breaking the tag strap across O'Conors head. Only time will tell what will happen from here, best rest assured whether you love or hate the Playas they are a huge focal point in the tag team division. |

WRESTLING SCHOOL
The Scottish wrestling Alliance has produced many home-grown talent at our training facility in Linwood, outside Paisley. The bulk of our roster have been scouted through our Area 52 facility including Falcon who has went on to win both the NWA British Junioerweight Chamionship as well as the NWA Scottish Heavyweight Championship.
Trainees who have graduated from the facility have also been given the spotlight to show off teir talents on SWA's NXT shows in Renfrewshire, allowing home grown stars the chance to get their foot in the door.
